Direction to Use
Preparation:
- Ensure the airotor and cartridge are properly sterilized before use.
- Confirm that the handpiece is securely connected to the dental unit.
Loading the Bur:
- For push-button mechanisms, press the button to open the cartridge.
- Insert the bur into the cartridge and release the button to secure it.
Air and Water Connection:
- Connect the airotor to the air and water supply of the dental unit.
- Adjust air pressure within the recommended range (Â 0.28-0.3Mpa) for optimal performance.
Operation:
- Activate the airotor using the foot pedal or handpiece control according to your dental unit specifications.
- Ensure the water spray is effective for cooling during procedures.
Changing Bur:
- For push-button mechanisms, press the button to release the bur.
- Remove the used bur and load a new one as per step 2.
Post-Procedure:
- After use, clean the airotor
- If autoclavable, sterilize the airotor at 135 ℃ for the recommended duration.
Maintenance:
- Regularly inspect the airotor for any damage or wear.
- Lubricate moving parts if necessary.
