Direction to Use
- Begin by preparing the access cavity to reach the root canal.
- Choose the appropriate size of the Flexiwave Reciprocating File (R25, R40, or R50) based on the canal anatomy and the treatment plan.
- Ensure that the file is properly sterilized according to the recommended guidelines (≤126°C).
- Attach the Flexiwave Reciprocating File to a compatible handpiece or motor.
- Use a lubricating gel or irrigating solution for enhanced performance and irrigation during the procedure.
- Insert the file into the canal gently, following the natural curvature while applying a light touch.
- Activate the reciprocating motion of the file using the recommended speed range (250-350 rpm).
- Allow the file to do the cutting and shaping of the root canal walls. Avoid excessive pressure or forcing the file.
- Use intermittent or short pecking motions while advancing the file apically.
- Periodically clean the file with an irrigating solution to remove debris and maintain its cutting efficiency.
- Monitor the progress and periodically check the working length using radiographs or electronic apex locators.
- After completing the root canal preparation, thoroughly clean and disinfect the canal using appropriate irrigation solutions.
- Follow up with the desired obturation technique to fill and seal the root canal.
