Direction to Use
- Application:
- Dispense a small amount of Waldent Porcelain Etch gel on restoration using the precision applicator tip.
- Apply a uniform layer of gel over the porcelain surface that requires etching. Be careful to avoid contact with adjacent tissues or areas that do not require etching.
- Etching Time:
- Allow the etch to remain on the surface for 30 seconds to 1 minute, depending on the specific requirements of the procedure and the thickness of the porcelain.
- Note: The etching time should not exceed the recommended duration, as over-etching may compromise the porcelain’s integrity.
- Rinse and Dry:
- After the etching time, thoroughly rinse the porcelain surface with water for at least 20-30 seconds to remove all traces of the etching gel.
- Dry the surface with a clean air syringe or paper towel. Ensure the surface is completely dry before proceeding with bonding or cementation.
- Proceed with Bonding:
- Once the porcelain surface is etched and dried, proceed with the application of the bonding agent, adhesive, or resin cement according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Safety Precautions:
- Avoid direct contact with the skin or eyes. In case of contact, rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention if necessary.
- Always follow the manufacturer’s safety guidelines and recommendations during handling and use.
